Public Speaking Club

Have you ever wanted to stand up and put your view across, but been too nervous to go through with it?
Most people feel worried about speaking in front of others, but many of those people have important and interesting things to say. If you want to get the confidence and skills to speak up in public, then come along to Volunteer Centre Southwark’s public speaking club. The club brings together a group of like-minded people all looking to improve their public speaking skills. It gives members the chance to learn skills and practise speaking in a safe environment.
Learn how to:
- Speak at a community meeting
- Put together a strong argument
- Ask effective questions
- Make a presentation
Meetings are held on the first Thursday of every month from 6-8pm. They will take place at Geheat Neutral, 120-132 Camberwell Rd, London SE5 0EE. All are welcome, but please let us know if you are planning to attend.
