Southwark residents and community groups are being urged to start thinking about their neighbourhood and how they want to improve it, as Southwark Council’s Cleaner Greener Safer Programme gets underway.The window for applications to the council starts on October 29 2011 with a closing date of January 6 2012. Come and get involved with the designs for Market Place in the Blue

Southwark Council and the South Bermondsey Partnership are working together
to make the area better for residents, traders and visitors. At the meeting you
will have the opportunity to comment on the latest plans for the square and the
models of the new sculpture that is being designed by local artist Kevin Boys.
