Southwark residents and community groups are being urged to start thinking about their neighbourhood and how they want to improve it, as Southwark Council’s Cleaner Greener Safer Programme gets underway.The window for applications to the council starts on October 29 2011 with a closing date of January 6 2012. Millwall South Bermondsey Livesey Programme

The SBP and Millwall Community Scheme have joined forces to provide free youth activities on four estates in the neighbourhood. Working on the Tustin, Silwood, Avondale and Bonamy/Bramcote estates there will be football, basketball and dancing sessions for young people aged 8-18.
