Southwark residents and community groups are being urged to start thinking about their neighbourhood and how they want to improve it, as Southwark Council’s Cleaner Greener Safer Programme gets underway.The window for applications to the council starts on October 29 2011 with a closing date of January 6 2012. On Friday 19 February from 10am to 4.30pm
Organised by the South Bermondsey Partnership.

12 to 4.30pm – Come under the arches where you will find
• A Dr. Bike service to help you tune your old bike for summer
• Southwark mobile library with environmental books and activities
BARGES stall with information about green spaces
• Advice about saving energy and recycling
• A bouncy castle
• Livesey Safer Neighbourhoods Team stall

3pm – Come join the Tustin Bash the Trash parade around the estate!
Make your own recycled parade costumes at the workshops

Monday 15 February between 10am to 12 noon – open to all children.
Friday 19 February between 10am to 12 noon – open to all the public.
